Avisi Technologies Shortlisted for Junkosha Innovator of the Year Award

Avisi Technologies has been shortlisted for Junkosha’s second-year Innovator of the Year Award program. This year had a tremendous number of applicants with Avisi Technologies being 1 of the 11 shortlisted to impress the panel of expert judges chosen for their vast industry experience in medical devices. The winning company will be awarded a $25,000 cash prize. A LinkedIn post by Junkosha stated, “At the core of the Junkosha brand message is our commitment to enabling technology innovators. Over the past year, we’ve witnessed our second-year Innovator of the Year Award program come to life.”

 

The history of Junkosha Inc. started in 1954 when the company was formed as a medical device manufacturer headquartered in Chiyoda City, Japan. Their coming-to-fame story began with development of the world’s first FEP melt-processable fluoropolymer products in 1961. The Japanese market widely accepted these products as the computer age closed in. Today, they provide solutions for customers in 32 countries and regions, hold 160 patents, and operate with 750 employees across 8 locations.

These individuals and organizations have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to innovation and have significantly contributed to advancing technology in their respective fields. Avisi Technologies, in particular, has distinguished itself through its state-of-the-art medical device solutions. Selecting the shortlist was no easy feat – we had to make some tough decisions along the way.
